Pain ~ whether it is emotional or physical can be overwhelming.  Maybe it feels like restlessness. Or numbness. Other times, like a train wreck. Yoga is a tool for learning to relate to pain skillfully. And other feelings and physical sensations too. But emotional and physical pain (or the fear of pain) often debilitates us.

Chronic health conditions, negative self talk, grief, trauma. Yoga can help transform our relationships with our bodies, and help us be healthier. If we want to have more muscle tone, be more flexible, stronger, less anxious, whatever it is. That is beauty! Chronic Yoga is about the practice of living with joy and pain gracefully. Feeling a bit less crazy and a whole lot more joyful.

Private or small group sessions 

In a private yoga sessions there are no rigid, pre-designed set of asanas.  We slow down. We establish a foundation. And chart a direction. Every session is a unique, made for you. You find the connection with your own physical sense and cultivate skills and space to keep your practice going. Practice includes breathing, resting and postures. Yes, rest! Mini-retreats (which are usually two hours) include an eating meditation.

This session is great for those who want a friendly explanation of yoga basics. We explore the teachings of yoga, and basic body alignment so that you will be able to reduce your stress, and move with ease.
